Thai Spicy Three Tastes Dish ( Tiga Rasa Thailand )
Three different tastes are incorperated to make the dish . The sweet , sour and spicy . The bird eye chilies , the coriander leaves , the basil leaves , the kafir lime leaves and the fresh lime juice defined its aromatic flavor . One of the most favored dish after Tom Yum Kung .
What you need
I whole fish - Kerapu or Siakap . Clean , rub with salt , deep in flour and fried. Leave it aside until later .
The sauce :
- 4 long red chilies
- 15 bird eye chilies
- 4 whole red tomatoes
- 1 whole yellow onion
- 8 cloves of garlic
- 1 stalk of lemon grass
- 5 kaffir lime leaves
- 1 stalk of coriander leaves with root
- 2 stips of fresh basil leaves
- ( Finely sliced or chopped the above ingredients )
- 2 tablespoons of chili paste or chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce
- Lime juice from 2 fresh lime
- 3 tablespoons of fish sauce
- salt and palm sugar to taste
- Oil for stir frying
