Pincuk Daging ( Dried Beef with Fresh Coconut Milk )
A simpler Kerabu version of beef dish . It is suitable as entrees or appertizer . The rarely showcased dish is usually presented during ' Kenduri ' - a special Malay traditional feast .
To make Pincuk , you need :
- 1/2 kg of beef - Boil to tender . Cut into thin slices .
- Fresh coconut milk - from one coconut
- 3 tablespoon of Kerisik
- 10 shallots - finely sliced
- 1 tablespoon finely crushed black peppercorn
- 1 tspoon of salt
- Juice of 2 fresh lime
Method
Combine all the above ingredients. Add in enough salt to taste . Leave it aside to allow the ingredients to fuse . The dish is usually served with steamed rice or eaten as it is .
